Wuppertal is a green city. This is evident in the variety of trees that line the streets and adorn the numerous parks. Various circular tree walks through Wuppertal allow you to discover different tree species, parks (e.g. Barmer Anlagen, Hardt and Ronsdorfer Anlagen) and districts (e.g. Elberfeld city centre and the zoo quarter). The accompanying brochures (available as PDF files below) will guide you through the various parks and neighbourhoods (each with a detailed map), provide information and illustrations of the different tree species, and teach you the basics of botanical plant identification.

The walk takes you to 30 tree species in the northern and southern parts of the Ronsdorfer Anlagen. Special attention is drawn to the flowers and fruit of the trees. The brochure is available here.
