Flowers and pollinators -"wenn der Pollen-Bote 2x klingelt"
Exhibition May 2015
In May 2015, our working group and the Wuppertal Botanical Garden presented the exciting world of flowers and pollinators in the Glass House on Elisenplatz under the motto "Wenn der Pollen-Bote 2x klingelt". Flowers and pollinators are not only a fascinating topic, but also extremely important from an ecological point of view and for our food supply. The world of pollinators is diverse, comprising numerous species of bees, flies, moths and bats, among others, and the world of flowers is also incredibly colourful and varied.
There was a special 'bee rally' for children and school classes. The exhibition was designed by biology students as part of a teaching project.
